‘Momaging’ From The Heart Blog #1

Momaging—where motherhood meets management. As a mid-30s melanated single BOYMOM to six sons, my life is a daily balancing act: guiding my children, navigating 9-to-5s, building businesses, part-time homeschooling, embracing lifestyle shifts, and deepening my faith in the Most High.

This journey is not for the faint-hearted. Some days, I feel unstoppable. Others, I’m reminded that strength lies in showing up, not perfection. Motherhood is a ministry—teaching, listening, loving, and leading through both chaos and quiet victories. Like the days when exhaustion weighs heavy, yet a simple ‘I love you, Mom’ from one of my boys fuels me to keep going.

Beyond motherhood, I navigate the intersection of entrepreneurship and stability, striving to build something greater while securing the present. Ownership and vision are not distant dreams—they are my reality in motion. The challenge lies in balancing ambition with responsibility, growth with consistency, and dreams with the demands of daily life. Every decision I make is a step toward legacy, ensuring that my sons see perseverance in action and understand that their futures are limitless with God’s help.

Faith anchors me, pushing me past limits and keeping me steady. Every step reminds me that purpose is woven into the highs and lows. I step into blogging to share, inspire, and impact. To be a voice for mothers, women forging new paths, and believers holding onto faith.

So, who am I? I am Salena, a mother, entrepreneur, educator, and storyteller. I create, I nurture, I build. I do this for the mothers who feel unseen, for the women stepping into their power, and for the families seeking balance and purpose. I do this because my story, my journey, and my faith are meant to be shared. If my words uplift even one person, then every challenge, every lesson, and every triumph has been worth it.

This is my introduction. This is my heart. This is Momaging.
